Stop Punishing Yourself for What you Didn’t Know

Look I get it.

I could spend hours and hours telling myself I should have known better, I should have made different choices, I should have….etc. etc. etc.

Here’s the truth.

You made the decisions that you did. Maybe you believed in someone or something that didn’t work out. Maybe you hurt someone. Maybe you let yourself get hurt.

At the moment those events happened you were doing the very best that you could. You trusted. You loved. You did not know how things would work out.

You need to forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know.

It’s not that easy I know. It takes work.

Forgiveness of self is something that comes up for all of my clients. The transformations I have witnessed from being able to forgive brings tears to my eyes even writing this.

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself.

Stop punishing yourself and start loving yourself. Just feel the shift in energy when you read that sentence.

Its possible.

If you cant seem to stop punishing yourself, or even fathom forgiveness reach out and let’s talk through it. Visit www.shellelynncoaching.com and schedule a call with me.

I can give you some tips to get started toward the healing and acceptance that will change your life.
