It’s all about mindset. From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep at night. Everything is up to you. Your emotions, your thoughts, your perceptions, your reactions, every moment.
Set your intention for the day. Write out your goals, gratitude, affirmations. See your reality shift when you are grateful for what you have and attract what you want by appreciating already having it.
I was on a call with one of my clients last night and we were discussing a routine I had her implement. She had been struggling with waking up and getting motivated. She was stuck in overwhelm with all the things she had to accomplish each day and basically was stressing herself out before she even made it out of bed!
For part of her work between calls I had her get a journal and put it next to her bed. Each morning for the last week she had to write down 5 things she was grateful for and then take 5 minutes to “empty” her brain and it get it out on paper. And lastly, to set her intention for the day.
This is a direct quote. “Starting my day with gratitude was so eye opening, being grateful made me realize I had so much to be thankful for. To be honest going into the week, I didnt think I had time to do the 5 minutes to brain dump, and I didn’t plan on doing it. I skipped the first day but then I heard your voice saying, just try it for a week and see how it goes, so I did it every other day. When I wrote this morning I set down my pen and was able to take a breath like I haven’t in a really long time. Thank you, thank you. Setting my intention made me feel like I had a purpose. These simple habits made such a difference its crazy!”
Change your mindset, change your life.
The mind is a powerful thing. Make sure you are filling it with thoughts that move you forward. You have the capability of creating whatever life you want.
